Where: Eatonton First United Methodist Church

When: August 10th, 2018
Dinner: 6:00pm
Pulled Chicken will be provided by the church, the community is asked to bring side dishes and desserts to share.
Meeting: 6:45 pm followed by Worship at 7:00pm
Good Food, Good Music, Good Fellowship and Forth Day Witness
Great Music will be provided by the 4Th Day Band
Childcare will also be Provided
Guests are welcome. Bring a Friend, bring a Relative and Bring a Future Pilgrim.

Last month we began highlighting an organization to support. At July gathering community members were asked to bring canned and non-perishable food items that were donated to the food pantry for Milledgeville Presbyterian Church. Community members responded in a great way. As a continued part of the Emmaus way and mission, we will highlight a new organization at each gathering.
During our August Gathering we will be assisting by bringing toiletry supplies for, Out of Darkness of Middle Georgia. This organization was founded in January 2014 when a group of people God connected began praying for women caught up in the sex industry in our communities. Let us do what we can to assist this group in the Emmaus way. God Bless
Suggested items: Full size shampoo and Conditioner, lotion, body wash, soap, toothpaste, tooth brushes, deodorant, shaving cream, razors, basic hygiene items or non-perishable food items like nuts and crackers.

The meal will begin at 6:00 PM and the Music and program will begin at 7:00 PM.

WHERE: THE BRIARPATCH (MIKE RAINEY’S FARM) 725 PEA RIDGE RD. EATONTON, GA
(LOOK FOR THE WELCOME ON THE ROAD)
WHAT TO BRING: NEW MEMBERS JUST BRING YOURSELVES, YOUR FAMILY AND/OR FRIENDS…NO FOOD…IT’S YOUR NIGHT!
WHAT TO BRING: EVERYONE ELSE JUST BRING SIDES TO COMPLIMENT HOT DOGS OR YOUR FAVORITE DESSERTS. THE ORBEC BOARD OF SERVANTS IS FURNISHING EVERYTHING ELSE, INCLUDING DRINKS.
WHAT’S HAPPENING: GREAT FOOD, OF COURSE.
LOTS OF MUSIC AND SINGING WITH OUR OWN “FOURTH DAY” BAND AND SINGERS.
HOLY COMMUNION WITH THE COMMUNITY.
AN OPEN MIC FOR ANYONE, INCLUDING NEW MEMBERS, TO SPEAK ON WHAT THEIR FOURTH DAY HAS BEEN LIKE.
AND, LOVE, MORE LOVE, AND MORE LOVE.
THERE WILL BE TIME FOR LOTS OF FELLOWSHIP IN THE “BIG BARN”.
THERE’S LOTS OF ROOM FOR PARKING.
CHILDCARE WILL BE PROVIDED.
